Women United 2025 Premier Partner

Working Group on Girls of Schenectady, Inc.

We are thrilled to announce BirthNet as the 2025 Women United Premier Partner! Their compelling presentation, Roots of Support: The Esther Patterson Doula Initiative, at our signature Power Pitch event in December 2024 earned them a $10,000 grant and this distinguished recognition.

BirthNet is committed to creating equitable birth experiences and improving maternal and infant health outcomes—especially for Black and teenage mothers—through culturally competent doula care, education, and community-based support. The Esther Patterson Doula Fund exemplifies this mission by providing financial assistance to Black doulas serving teenage clients.
